Stephanie made this memory pillow using a set of her dad's clothes. She made "Pa" pillow for her daughter to have to remember her Pa by.

Used acrylic paint and it was inspired by a friends photo of a sunset in Arkansas.

Mary wanted to try to make a big Christmas star to hang on the front porch of the home out of plastic hangers. She worked on this project for a while until she finally made a star she said would be seen by the community as they passed by the home. As for the decoration of her star, she wrapped clear lights around the hangers, added some Christmas garland and a hometown bow. She added the lights because she said she wanted it lit up for Jesus and she wanted everyone to see the star as well as the wise men did on that special night long ago. She was very proud of herself once she saw her completed project.

Barbara chose for her snowflake to be on blue colored paper, as she said her favorite color is blue and this is like how snow looks when you put it on paper. She was very proud of her art piece.

Summer Time

My way of telling everyone Happy St. Patricks day. I attached decorative mesh to a wreath form of a variety of colors. I added tulle and crinkle ribbon to give different color and texture. I added the feathers for the same reason. The pot of gold and welcome sign I salvaged from last years decorations.

Miss Martha loves to puzzle and we have several of her framed puzzles hanging up throughout the facility.

Painted with Activities

I made this wreath with burlap, tied to a metal wreath frame with pipe cleaners. Then added ribbon, buckeyes and I painted the home sign rustic.

I made this wreath by attaching six bunny head wired frames together. I started with wrapping a six frames together with big yarn and wrapped a small round frame. Then I zip tied all frames on top of each other, separating them to form the sunflower. I used ribbon, wired frames, jute rope, fabric, zip ties, hot glue and accessories

It tells my mom who is far away that she still brings a smile to my heart. I used stickers for the message and feathers for an added effect, all applied to a wood plaque I decided to leave it's natural color.
